Prenatal Support
Sometims this joyful time brings emotional triggers of past trauma. Memories of past losses, abuse or neglect may surface during prenatal classes, or haring the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I will respond to with compassion. However, sometimes, it helps us to heal, and know we are not alone by attending childbirth education with others.
Birth Assistance
This could be an emotional time, espicially for those with issues related to unresolved trauma. I look forward to providing you with connection and reassurance in your birth journey. I promise to listen non-judgmentally, and be there to offer support. Sometimes just the presence of a familiar, supportive person can ease your fears and provide comfort during vulnerable moments..
Postpartum Care
Helping you transition smoothly into motherhood with confidence. I will be there to help you establish breastfeeding, if that is your goal. I will be there to advocate for you and your birth partner to be the first to touch your baby and welcome him/her into your family. This is the most spiritual and intimate time between the new parents and the newborn, to promote bonding.

Why do I need a doula?
Birthing with a doula reduces the chance of needing pain medications during delivery.
Birthing with a doula reduces the chance of tears
Birthing with a doula allows the infant to be more alert and awake, in order to initiate breastfeeding within the first hour, if breastfeedig is your goal.
What is your approach?
My approach is empowering you in birthing your baby in a more traditional way; Without medical intervention, unless absolutly necessary for the health of you or your baby. I look forward to supporting you and your birth partner in this most intimate time of your life. "You can't just hope for the best outcome, you gotta plan these things."
Do you provide postpartum support?
Yes, I offer support after birth to help new parents welcome their new baby into his/her new environment. It is essential that the newborn knows he/she accepted and loved. I will help the new mom to get breastfeeding established and make a postpartum home visit to help the transition to home a little easier. I am happy to provide you with postpartum information on feeding and infant care.
What services do you offer?
I provide prenatal education, labor support, and postpartum care tailored to your needs and wants. I provide non-medical assurance to yu before, during and after childbirth. These services include massage, breathing down your baby, and creating a birth preference plan
